How many burnishers are there in the blister set?
At Derwent we strive to provide our customers with everything they need for that perfect pencil drawing and that is why we have put together a blister pack containing 2 blender pencils, 2 burnisher pencils, a sharpener and an eraser.
Burnishing pushes the pigment into the paper and leaves a very well blended, photo like finish. It makes the colours look brighter and can give an image a polished or reflective look. They smooth out the grain of the paper and accentuate the brightness of the pencils.
Blending pencils are used to blend and smooth out the coloured pencil layers, which makes the colours very bright and vivid. The blender will blend colours, smooth layers, and soften hard edges of coloured pencil artwork. Use the pencil blender to create a lightly blended, layered effect and to pull colours together.
